Originally meant as a wooden box or drawer, Kahong (Spanish: cajón), this instrument is modified from waste into a wooden instrument; the drum of the drum or the guitar string is installed in the wooden drum to create resonance. Similar to the sound of the drums, some of the more advanced wooden drums add a strainer, a resonance box piston pedal, and other percussion instruments (Tambourine) to the drum to increase the diversity of the sound. It is a box-shaped wooden percussion instrument, which is shot by hand and tapped on the front panel of the wooden box. The sound is similar to a drum. Popular in Cuba, Peru and other places.
